Women Safety and Advisory Centre

Women Safety and Advisory Centres are being run at Women Police Station, Jhunjhunu and Ajmer. The centres are being run with the support of Women Rights Department, Government of Rajasthan.

The major objectives of the centre are:

• To protect women from exploitation, injustice, domestic violence, etc.
• To ensure justice to women through counselling and advice

Every year almost 600 cases are tackled. The emphasis remains on compromise as majority of the cases are from the family. When compromise cannot be arrived at, the matter is pursued in the court.
