Women Empowerment

Rajasthan is a highly patriarchal society and instances of discrimination against women abound. This is also one state where violence against women both inside and outside home is rampant. 

To take women out of the present, it is necessary that women be empowered. While awareness generation on women issues is important for women empowerment, this issue is included in all the activities that the organisation does. Thus women find preference in environment, livelihood and health interventions. In fact livelihood interventions are centred around women only.

JZPSS is running an Anganwadi Workers Training Centre at Churu. Anganwadi workers and assistants are provided training in this centre. It is also running a Women Safety and Counselling Centre at Women Police Stations in Jhunjhunu and Ajmer districts.
