Jan Aushadhi Medical Store

Two Jan Aushadhi Medical Stores, one at Jhunjhunu and another at Churu, have been opened to ensure availability of cheaper medicines to the people. In fact the Jan Aushadhi Medical Store at Jhunjhunu is the first ever such store across Rajasthan.

Jan Aushadhi Medical Store is an ambitious project of the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers, New Delhi, with the inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. These stores sell only generic medicines.

On some special occasions these medical stores organise free health check-up camps and free medicine distribution as a part of promotional activities.
