Anganwadi Workers Training Centre
Zila Paryavaran Sudhar Samiti (ZPSS) is running Anganwadi Workers Training Centre at Churu since 2010. This centre is supported by Integrated Child Development Services, Government of Rajasthan. The centre covers Churu, Ganga Nagar, Hanuman Garh, Sikar and Jhunjhunu districts.
The major objective of the centre is to build capacity of anganwadi workers and assistants through training and refresher training, which cover the following:
- Child development
- Food and nutrition
- Community participation
- Role of anganwadi workers
- Immunisation
- Better management of anganwadi centres
